Mother's Day Brunch in Charleston
We will be in Charleston for the first time over Mother's Day weekend with our two pre-teen boys. Can anyone recommend a restaurant for brunch? The kids are not picky eaters. We just want to be able to enjoy a great meal to start off our day of exploring Charleston. Thanks for any input.

If you're staying at a hotel, I'd suggest you ask them. Usually, they come up with the best places.
You'll love Charleston. |
I would suggest Charleston Place for something really special.

Last time in Charleston we had brunch at Poogans Porch and our two young teens loved it.

High Cotton on East Bay has a great brunch menu with superb food to match without breaking the bank. Located right around the corner from the Market, it's right in the middle of everything you'd want to see. And you'll love Charleston!

Brunch at Poogan's Porch is my favorite in Charleston. Your boys will love Poogan's Porch. It is haunted. |
Hello, I just finished a wonderful trip to Charleston. We drove out to the Woodlands on Sunday and had their elegant brunch. It is just a short trip if you have a car. What outstanding service and surroundings. We will return next year to stay their.

If you are looking for something more casual, Hominy Grill is a good option.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I'm leaning towards Poogan's Porch (my son became wide-eyed when I told him it is haunted), but I do think we will try Hominy Grill and High Cotton for lunch or dinner on another day. All the online menus look great! Thanks again.
