most scenic and easy: blue lake, rainy lake, or thunderknob hike, North Cascades NP?

Of these hikes in North Cascades National Park, which is the most scenic? (October time) and easyish and not longer than about 3 hours round trip?

None of these will take 3 hours. Rainy Lake is only 2 miles and basically no elevation gain at all and Thunder Knob is only about 3.5 miles and 600 ft elevation gain, so again very easy. Rainy Lake is more of a stop off along the side of the highway as it is just a short walk. Blue Lake is the longest of these at close to 4.5 miles. October is the time to see the larches here, so I would opt for Blue Lake or Thunder Knob. Besides these, you might consider Cutthroat Lake. I prefer Cutthroat Pass, but that is much more than what you are looking for, but just to the lake is still a great way to see the larches.
