Most Romantic Vacation

where have you spent some of your most romantic vacations?

What vacation spots / trips bring you closer to your spouse/significant other.

For example, we were just talking about how romantic a cruise was to the Tahitian islands (taking personal feelings of it being our honeymoon) because it was relaxing, non touristy, exotic etc.

Can't wait to hear from everyone.

2nd honeymoon on Maui and Kauai, especially Kauai. :-)
Next would of been one of our vacations in Monterey/ Carmel. Then Sedona/ Flagstaff. :-)

We went to Maui this past Christmas and it was by far the most romantic vacation that we have taken thus far. We're really looking forward to next year's vacation though as we have rented a villa with a private pool on the beach in TC.

Paris

Harbour Island, Bahamas

But really anywhere with a nice hotel and some fun things to do and explore. Always find that when we get away without the children (with whom we travel a great deal), we always have fun just exploring and doing the things we did when we fell in love! Could be walking all over Harbour Island or touring WWII battlefields in Normandy or hiking in New Hampshire. Just doing something together without distractions is great fun.

- British Virgin Islands, Tortola & Virgin Gorda. I loved the beaches and hikes around the island.

- Santa Fe, New Mexico - Loved hiking in nearby mountains and enjoying romantic dinners and sunsets at night.

- And surprisingly, Disney World for my honeymoon :) What can I say? We love Disney World! We did the usual park visits, but also planned some nice romantic dinners and walks at night. And the hotel we stayed at had a hot tub that hardly anyone else used!
