Mosser Hotel -SF

Has anybody stayed at the Mosser Hotel on 4th St in SF? It's listed on Yahoo travel for $90/night for a double room with a private bath. Being only a block south of Market, and judging by the pictures provided on the site, it looks too good to be true. Anybody stayed there?

I didn't stay there, but it looked nice from the outside. The neighborhood looks good - across the street from the huge Mariott Hotel. It's at a great location - near Union Square. You can easily walk to Chinatown from there.

Thanks. Anybody else?

Family friends stayed there and thought it was nice and well-located but the rooms were SMALL!

Here's a little blurb I came across about the the Mosser from the March 2003 Travel Holiday: "What used to be a scruffy Victorian hotel has been stripped down, spiffed up, and turned into a real bargain of a stay--nearly all the chic of the nearby W at half the price ($109 for a deluxe double)...Do remember to specify one of the 112 deluxe rooms; the 54 standards have to share bathrooms."
