Mosquitoes

I keep hearing about all the unbearable mosquitoes in Florida. I have visited in June and November and have yet to encounter them. What are the months and areas that have the bad mosquitoes? thanks.

out of staters have often told tales of gargantuan mosquitoes that will pick up people and fly with them. just bring repellent as they differ depending on the weather. Worse than mosquitoes are no-see-ums. Both are fine during the day, terrible at dusk then go away again. But they're bad up north, too.

The mosquito problem is bad in Northwest Florida during the warm weather months -- April to October. I have never seen a problem with the no-seeums.
