Morro Bay for week of Thanksgiving
 

We will be in Morro Bay for the week of Thanksgiving-staying in our motorhome. I would like to know about good restaurants in the area. We like all types of food-from just good food at "regular" restaurants to gourmet food at "fancier" places. And, great seafood too! <BR>Thank you for any help! <BR>Shadow

Morro Bay is beautiful at Thanksgiving, but I wouldn't say that they have much to choose from in good restaurants. <BR> <BR>A popular restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner is the Harbor Hut. Just be sure to make reservations. <BR> <BR>For pretty good, casual Mexican food try Julio's down by the movie theater. <BR> <BR>The Great American Fish Company is a good choice for seafood. There's also a good fish market down on the Embarcadero where you might want to stop and buy some fresh fish to bbq back at your camp ground. <BR> <BR>The Sea Shandy is a decent casual restaurant in nearby Cayucas. There desert menu is great! <BR> <BR>Also think about heading up to Cambria (only around 30 minutes north and a pretty drive) for some restaurant choices. Sow's Ear, Robin's, Lombardi's and the Main Street Grill (this one is very casual) are some of my favorites. <BR> <BR>Have a great vacation/holiday week!

Galley Seafood on the embarcadero is pretty good.And, another vote for the Sow's Ear and Bramble's Dinner House in Cambria is wonderful. Jocko's in Nipomo is a bit of a drive but has great steaks and Sta. Maria BBQ.

I forgot to add Pizza Port to my Morro Bay list. Very casual, but a popular place for locals and has some pretty decent pizzas and calzones.
