Morro Bay, CA...
Motels from one end of town to the other...
which end, N or S of MB Blvd. is more accessible/convenient to waterfront, etc.
In other words, is one better than the other?
thanks for your input!
b

Suggest staying on the southern side. My recollection is that we stayed on the north side, and were a bit far out for the waterfront area.

While I haven't stayed there personally (I always stay at my brother's house), my friends have always enjoyed their stays at the Twin Dolphin.

The Inn at Morro Bay is a nice setting right along the water. This hotel, however, is a little more removed from the Embarcadero and downtown. It is located just across from the golf course and is a great more isolated setting.

If you need restaurant recommendations in the area, just let us know your price range and type of cuisine.

Have fun!

I stayed at the Inn at Morro Bay a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. While it's not much more than a motel, it features a great view of "the rock" as well a superb restaurant.
