More questions about Maui....

Hi, we are going to Maui in the next couple of weeks. There is a group of 17 of us going (ages 3-99 1/2). My children however are three boys, 13, 15 and 17. Has anyone tried the Royal Lahaina Luau? The Old Lahaina is booked. What catamaran/snorkeling company would you recommend? How about the hiking trips? What about the zipline? Any recommendations on dive shops to rent snorkeling gear? Someone suggested looking at laundromats for people renting gear. Any other suggestions for teenage boys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-

What do you mean by the laundromat statement?

Probably that one would see ads for snorkeling gear rentals posted at the laundromat.

Check out this site. it has good info about where to rent equipment. In fact, it has lots of info for anything to do and see on Maui.

We took a snorkeling trip with Pacific Whale Foundation and there were quite a few young children. The PWF crew does a great job with children, so you may want to consider them for your snorkeling trip. www.pacificwhale.org

Popular snorkel/dive rentals are Snorkel Bob's and Maui Dive shop.

Have not tried Royal Lahaina Luau, but have done the one at the Hyatt which was very good.

I went to the Royal Lahaina Luau and loved it. We had a group of 10, including a 2 year old. He loved to fire dance at the end. My mother-in-law said it was better than the Old Lahaina Luau and she never admits to being shown up. We went on a snorkel trip, but had a better time just going of the shore. The people at the snorkel rental shop can tell you of good places to go.
