more disneyworld in a wheel chair

Thank you so much for all the wonderful advice, it is certainly making the trip less stressful. The other main thing is, can anyone advise me on transportation from Orlando airport to Kissimee? There are five of us, luggage and a wheelchair so it has to be some sort of minibus. I have checked with the hotel we are staying in and they don't have a shuttle, a cab won't be big enough, should I book in advance? Who with? Also, Austin, we are arriving early August.

Check out Deb Wills unofficial guide site: wdwig.com Many trip reports posted, people give details about their transportation and how well it worked, and also there is a section where people give tips on traveling to WDW when you are differently-abled or larger than average size.

Have you thought of renting a scooter at WDW as it is much easier. We did this while there in febrary and it was a lifesaver. they rent for 30 dollars a day with a ten dollar deposit, no one has to push you and it also provides a basket for storing items. Only draw back you have to get there early to get a scooter
