More Atlanta Advice Please

Hello all,
Thanks for your advice on Atlanta. We are going for our anniversary in mid-April and will see a Braves game and the new aquarium. We have great restaurant suggestions (thanks Starrsville!) but is there one that would be good for our anniversary dinner? Don't want to spend a ton ($50-$75 ideal) and we don't drink. Would Pleasant Peasant be nice (suggested earlier)? Also, we would like some live music or something to do that evening. We checked the Fox Theater but nothing is going on that weekend that we're interested in. We're staying at the Georgian Terrace. Thanks so much for your help!

There's usually live music in the jazz place right next to the Fox, which is right across the street from Georgia Terrace. I'm completely blanking on the name, but it's literally connected to the Fox.

Do a quick ticketmaster search for those dates in Atlanta and it'll show you any shows in the area that weekend. Will you have a car?

Thanks NYCGirl. Are you thinking of Churchill Grounds? I used the search function and read another thread that recommended it. We won't have a car. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

Yes, Pleasant Peasant would be very nice for a special occasion. I'll ask about live music options. The bar nycgirl1 refers to would be perfect.

Yes yes. Churchill Grounds. I don't know why I can never remember the name! :)

Be sure they haven't started renovations at the Georgian Terrace yet or if they have, not in the are you are staying in. When I was booking an event back during Christmas, they mentioned its getting a reno this year. Baronda is practically across the street. Can be noisy inside, but the patio is great and the food consistently good. I wouldn't consider it fancy, but its a good option that's close by, maybe for another night. www.baraondaatlanta.com
