Monticello- children's tour vs. "regular" tour
 

I will be traveling with my family the week after Easter- my husband and 3 boys, 15, 5, 3. The time we anticipate arriving at Monticello is around the time the last children's tour is for the day and we would likely miss it, so I need to know if it's worth coming back the next day.

I would say no. Your 3 year old is a little young for it and your 15 YO has aged out of it.

I did not know there is a childresn tour. We have taken our children here through the years at those various ages and it is enjoyed by all!

I hope the snow is melted so you can walk around easier and maybe see some of the Spring garden in bloom.

I also agree with obxgirl too.

I was there about 8 months ago and didn't notice a Children's Tour either. They do change things there often. Monticello is a really nice place to see!!

Spring Break: March 23 – April 7; Summer: June 8 – September 2 (No tours July 4th); first three weekends in October, plus Columbus Day
10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00
