Monterey restaurant with kids
 

Can anyone suggest a restaurant near the aquarium for lunch? We will be there on a Monday just to go to the aquarium and are looking for suggestions as to where to get a bite to eat with two kids ( 5 and 2). Any suggestions appreciated!

Schooner's Bistro at the Monterey Plaza is great for families. The kids will enjoy sititng out on the patio and the fish and chips are excellent here. Also very yummy desserts! ***kim*** ((f))

Walk across the street from the aquarium to the outlet mall. You will find a nice hamburger restaurant on the corner. They also have outside seating. There is also a restaurant inside the aquarium. Either choice, you will not need to move your car.

First Awakenings is good for lunch, also in the same outlet mall (American Tin Cannery). If you like healthier food choices go there. If you want burgers and fries, Archie's American diner would be the one. Also Kalisa's Cafe on Cannery Row, for a quick Sandwich and ice cream. :-)

Bubba Gump's is walking distance from the Aquarium

The Fish Hopper is also right there with some pretty good clam chowder! ***kim*** ((f))

Why not just grab a bite at the Aquarium? (No, you can't eat the fish!)
