Monterey-ocean view?
 

Hi!! Been reading these post regarding hotels along the coast. I would love to stay in a hotel with a balcony with the best views of the oceans! Any help would be great!! By the way, can't afford Post Ranch or Ventana (and they are booked anyway). What is the 'best' oceanview resort in Monterey? Thanks so much!!

Actually Lisa, you'll get a Bay view unless you go south of Carmel. But that said, you might like the Monterey Beach Hotel, where you can get a Bay View with a balcony. Or one of the Cannery Row hotels with bay view is nice as well. If your wallet can stand it, check out the Inn at Spanish Bay. If it can't, go there in the evening for a drink at sunset when the bagpiper comes across the 18th green.

Two more great Bay views: GREEN GABLE INN or SEVEN GABLE INN. Both located in Pacific Grove. Web site for town is www.pacificgrove.org. Check it out.

The Seascape Resort in Aptos has balconies and a bay view.
