Monorail operating from Monte Carlo to Bellagio?
 

I heard a rumor which I hope isn't true that the monorail between the Monte Carlo and the Bellagio is not operating at present. Can someone give me accurate information. We will be there Sept. 22 - 24. Thanks.

I was just at the Bellagio in mid-July, and it was under construction... most of it had been torn out. The project may very well be done by the time you're there-- I'd call either hotel to get accurate info.

I was in Las Vegas last month. I was told that the monorail will not be up and running until erly 2004.

Iwas told that too. Not until early spring. Bellagio is building another tower or something.

I just returned from LV and there was no monorail and won't be until 2004.

A new freeway overpass at Harmon Avenue is being built over I-15. That new road will plow right through where the monorail between Bellagio and Monte Carlo was. I believe a new elevated monorail is being built over that portion of the new road, but I don't think it is expected to open until 2005.
