Monday in NYC -- What to see on Broadway?

Upcoming trip to NY may put me there on a Sunday and Monday. Will try for a single ticket to Book or Mormon on Sunday evening. Failing that thought Peter and the Starcatcher might be a good second. Want to see Cyrano at Sunday mantinee.

Now for Monday -- choices are Evita, Ghost, or Newsies. Opinions?

Something better off-Broadway?

Thanks.

Ghost isn't still running. You probably won't get to see Book of Mormon unless you are paying a lot of money. No opinions

Look on StubHub for Book of Mormon tix. Here is a link: http://www.stubhub.com/the-book-of-m...-york-tickets/

The Stub Hub prices for BoM are outrageous. I can actually find box office tickets for my date at regular (not preimium) prices. They are off to the side, but so are the Stub Hub seats. While I'm sure the show is good, I don't think anything is worth $300-$400 per seat. Its not life-changing, its just funny.

The question really is ---- Monday night: Evita or Newsies or something amazing (???) off-Broadway.

Peter and the Star Catcher is wonderful, very imaginative and funny.

Monday is a pretty slow night with not many shows on ..after seeing 2 shows on one day are you really sure you want to go to a third on Monday? You could see what is on the TKTS board on Monday if you are not committed to a particular show.

When we were looking for shows to see on our recent trip I found Monday to be a no performance day for the popular shows.

News tonight said Broadway was clsoed due to Hurricane Sandy

Thanks to all. I go to NY often and have a listing of the shows that do have Monday night performances. Hence, my specific question regarding the two shows. And, yes, it is not unusual for me to see two shows in a day. I've been known to see 10 shows in one week on previous trips. Broadway is my love. I have seen many of the current shows already, so I'm just trying to make this one decision.

Again, my thanks.
