If by nice you mean upscale, then your only choice would be Molokai Ranch. If you mean a nice place as in pretty and clean then you have several good condo options. We stayed at the Wavecrest Resort several years ago and loved it. We had an oceanview condo and the grounds were just lovely. It's located on the remote eastern side of the island, but nothing is really far away on such a small island. Dining choices are slim, but all are good, especially the Cookhouse.

Thanks seattlesue. What is there to do there? Is the Molokai Ranch REALLY nice? Does it have a restaurant and bar on the prmises? This is a special occasion! Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Molokai Ranch in September. It was as nice as it comes on Molokai. That being said, Molokai Ranch is very "ranchy", Western-cowboy style. We stayed in the best room in the place - the one that the girl on the Travel Channeled stayed in on the "Girl Meets Hawaii Show". It is old fashioned, small room.
BUT we had a nice balcony that looked out over the pastures and the horses grazing in the meadows with the ocean WAYYYYYYY off in the distance. It is a 20 minute dirty road drive down to the small but beautiful/quite/relaxing beach.
We stayed on Molokai on the 18th, 19th, 20th day of our honeymoon to Hawaii. So it was a nice time to sit and relax on the beach. There are no touristy shops, upscale restaurants etc. The Molokai has a nice bar area with a pool table and TV and a OKay restaurant, but nothing different than you'd find in any small town in America. The only difference is the ocean in the distance.
While inside the hotel, you would think that you are in Utah or Colorado.
We drove the distance of the island one day and although it was very pretty, it was not on the same scale as the other islands.
If you want to get away from it all and relax and NOT feel like you are in Hawaii, but love the view of the ocean - then go to Molokai.
If you want to get the Hawaiian feel that we all have in our head than Molokai is not the place. Every mountain, beach, waterfall .... was not the best we'd seen.
We did not take the mule ride down to the old Leper colony because it was full one day and the next was a Sunday so it was closed. It might have been fun riding down the side of the tallest sea cliffs in the world but it didn't work out that way for us.
I have some pictures from my trip and of the Molokai island from my report. It is here...........

I will top the report for you.
Let me know if I can answer any other questions.
