Moderately priced accomidations in Waikiki?

My husband and I are traveleing to waikiki beach in March and are looking for a place to stay that's in the $150 a night range, that has a good location, clean and comfortable. We don't need extra frills. We're open to hotels or condos. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are staying at the ResortQuest Waikiki Circle next month. I can't give you a first-hand account (this will be our first trip to Hawaii) but the reviews on Tripadvisor are generally good. No-frills but apparently a good location. It does not have a pool, which might be important to you.

There are so many, and if you get the Entertainment book, you can find a lot of hotels in Waikiki for half price. We've stayed in several places in the past that were under $100 a night! Sorry that I can't remember the names off hand.

Alohaaa...We used Priceline and got 4* The Hawaiian Prince for about $135/night.

Very nice place. Good location...walking distance to Ala Moana Shopping Ctr (at least that made it a good location for Mrs Kal!), Waikiki Beach, etc.
Good restaurant, too.
Had a room over looking the marina and the ocean.

Kal, don't use priceline! Everybody knows you're priceless :)
