Moderate Priced Hotel in La Jolla?

We are looking for recommendations for a moderately priced hotel for April in La Jolla - somewhere around the seal beach area (Prospect street area). We are cosnidering the Best Western, any suggestions?

If you use Priceline you will be able to get the best accomodations for your $$. As many have mentined before www.biddingfortravel.com gives you a list of hotels you'll most likely receive in the La Jolla area. Have a great time in San Diego, one of my favorite cities!

To second the above, we recently stayed at the Hyatt in La Jolla for $75/night via Priceline. THe Hyatt is in the Univeristy area of La Jolla though, not near the beach.

Read the fine print.

That's one thing that the priceline stockholders who continually post here never seem to mention.

Was that directed towards me? I have absolutely no affiliation towards Priceline whatsoever. I travel quite extensively on business & pleasure and use those websites quite often. If you see my posts that is quite evident. With the stock market the way it is, why would anyone be investing in stocks anyway? Sorry to burst your bubble ; )
