Mobile home rental on East coast Florida

Hi,

Would anybody know of a website where I could find Mobile home rentals in Florida around Fort Lauderdale?

It could also be a condo or a house.

Thanks

have you done a google search?

Since coastal structures have such strict building codes, most coastal communities have banned mobile homes.

Which part of Florida?

Fort Lauderdale

Try VRBO.com - they usually have houses, condos, and some mobile homes.

Good luck!!

I have tried VRBO.com but they are all very expensive...

Any other suggestions? We don't need to be at walking distance of the beach since we have a car...

Thanks again

It's not surprising that rentals in S FL would be expensive. What about booking a Priceline room? If you need a kitchen, etc. try booking suite or extended stay hotels.

Check www.homesteadhotels.com. A co-worker that travels South Florida stays in the Homestead Guest Studio hotels. I checke two nights in Ft. Laud in August for 2 adults and 2 kids and a $76 rate came up. They aren't my favorite places to stay but are clean with kitchens. A search for extended stay hotels brought up lots of options to explore.

Hollywood Florida which is just south of Ft. Lauderdale is very reasonable. For flat out cheap accommodations with a kitchen steps from the beach, try the Mirador Motel.

Hollywood has the most beautiful beach in South Florida.

www.MiradorMotel.com

Rates start at about $240 per week for an efficiency in off season.

You could also try vacationrentals411.com seems to be a number of rentals there. You don't mention if you want to rent for a month or a week.

You might also try a real estate company - there can definitely find a mobile home for a month.

Thanks to all of you, I am looking at all your suggested websites.

My dates are December 25 to January 8th (2 weeks) and we are a family of 4 (3 beds needed).
