Mo., IA., IL. How are the Roads?
 
Travelling from St. Louis up through Peoria, the Quad Cities heading to the Dubuque, IA area tomorrow. How are the roads? Looks slick but the temps are suppose to be above freezing? Trying to decide if we should go or cancel the trip. Any help is appreciated.

We are in Chicago and it's pretty nasty. My husband and I have driven in close to blizzard conditions before to MI (not smart) and are sitting this one out today. We were almost out the door earlier and decided to wait until tomorrow. It's completely your call. I don't know if tomorrow is going to be any better.

Roads were great on Dec. 23rd. Had rain most of the way. Returning on the 27th was another story. Terrible road conditions until south of Springfield, IL.. We did have a white Christmas and the temperatures were tolerable(lowest temp was 19!!) Happy New Year to all!!
