Missoula restuarants

Hi all:

I would appreciate any lunch/dinner recommendations for Missoula.

Thanks!

A few weeks ago my husband and I spent one night in Missoula (wish it was several). We had a delicious dinner at The Red Bird. We did eat in the bar, as the restaurant was not open that evening. The service was also excellent. I would definitely return if visiting Missoula.

I heard that Red Bird was great form our waitress at another restaurant. We ate at the restaurant at our hotel (Doubletree hotel -- Finn and Porter is the restaurant) and the food was superb. It's on the river and has a nice view. It was NYC prices, but worth it.

While in Missoula last May, we had dinner at the Montana Club. It is a big, busy, locally-run place with a menu that offers something for every taste.

I spent 2 nights in Missoula in July. Ate both nights at the Rowdy Cabin. That may sound strange but the Cabin consisted of a Mexican Restaurant and a Sports Bar in the same building (but separated). The Mexican Restaurant was excellent. Sorry I can't remember its offical name, Fiesta something. It was located on the same road as the Montana Club and across the street from the Hampton Inn where I stayed. A bit out of town toward the airport.
