Mirage pool area
Has it finished the renovation? If not, does anyone know when it will be done? Thanks.
|
Yes the pool area is completed. We just came back from staying next door at TI.
|
Hope that they haven't spoiled it? Thought it was perfect as it was!

daph,
I totally agree. I was there in 2001, and I think the Mirage had one of the best pool areas I had ever seen. I can't help thinking, what in the world they could have done to make it better? |
basically everything is the same...but the colors and the cabanas. Colors are tan/brown (towels, chair cushions etc) vs last year's blue. Cabanas are refurbished into what I like to call now the "feng-shui" cabana...very plush - sofa, chair/ottoman, overhead fan, flat screen tv - very nice and worth it in my opinion but $40 more expensive than last year.
No worries, still an awesome pool! |
What is the cost of a cabana for the day/week? Anyone know?
|
$140/day
plus any alcoholic bevies and food Just a few tips...we talked to several people at the pool that never had any luck getting a cabana when they called months in advance. We have gotten a cabana both times we stayed at the Mirage by calling ahead and then calling back when we got there at least one day before we wanted the cabana and making sure we were on the list and if not put on the list. They will call you in the morning to let you know if you have gotten one. They don't always leave messages and you could be at breakfast (or still gambling) so it doesn't hurt to call them or stop by the cabana hut. have fun! |
Just curious; can you stay in a hotel in LV and go to the swimming pool in another hotel?
|
Corine, most pools are for hotel guests only. You are required to show a key when you enter the pool area.
bogart, is the new restaurant finished as well? It was practially rubble when I was there in early May! |
