Minneapolis question

Anybody know anything about Northland Inn in Minneapolis?

It's the dining room of a large convention type hotel in the northern suburbs, scene of lots of nice weddings.

First off it's not in Minneapolis, but about 20-25 min Northwest of downtown. Brooklyn Center is not one of the more attractive suburbs. The Inn itself is nice. I only ate their once and it was years ago but it was very good. Obviously it could have changed. It overlooks a major freeway. Not at all scenic. If the location is close to family or something than I'd say it's a nice place to stay. If you want to be close to the theaters and night life in Minneapolis there are a lot of equally nice downtown hotels that probalby aren't any more expensive--especially if you are staying on the weekend.

Nice conference center with all the amenities. Ideal for business meetings and or large group gatherings. In the northern suburbs and not a lot to do right around there. Depending on your time & needs, I agree with mariemom2 and would look into other venues.

Thanks for the help. I may check out some hotels downtown.
