Milwaukee Restaurant for 50th Anniversary?

My parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in August and I'm looking for a Milwaukee are restaurant for a family dinner. There will be 10 of us total, ranging in age from 9-75. We want someplace that feels special, not stuffy. Seafood isn't a favorite. Cedarburg, Grafton, Downtown areas are all fine. Ideas?

The Riversite in Mequon is very nice for a special occasion.

My favorite special restaurant is Sanford's.

The food at the Holiday House in the Third Ward is excellent.

I've been to Sanford's and it is terrific. Very special place.

I love Lake Park Bistro for special occasssions. During the day, the views are great!

We find Lake Park Bostro to be unpleasantly noisy--which could be a problem if the elders have any decrease in hearing. If you go there, ask in advance for a corner table in the room with all the windows--that way you won't be surrounded by noise.

Wew've been to Lake Park Bistro recently and it can be quite noisy, but very good. Be advised that Sanford's is also very good but IMHO it is quite pricey.

Do you like German food? If so I would highly recommend Karl Ratzsch - they have great food & on the weekends a piano player. Nice atmosphere.
