Millenium Broadway hotel? the Roosevelt?

The Millenium broadway is running a special right now. Dh has a business meeting in NYC, and needs to be close to rockefeller center. Is the millenium nice? reviews on TA are mixed. The Roosevelt gets worse reviews, but wondering if anyone has any info on it-- also running a good special.

Well, the Roosevelt is an older traditional hotel that is generally reliable - but not as close to Rock Center (where exactly is your DH meeting?).

But- all the hotels are running specials now - have you looked at travelzoo and all the hotel sites. You may find something better.

The Warwick is closer to Rock Ctr. Among the places you mention, that's probably the best option for him. The Mill. B'way is fine too but in Times Square. The Shoreham also has a special on travelzoo but rooms there can be very small. Have you looked on quikbook.com for his dates?

I ended up getting a great deal at the warwick. travelzoo's promotion, for some reason, wasn't even as good as the basic AAA one. He got a king room (described as a quiet one) for 126. Thanks everyone!

Sounds great. How did you find the AAA price? Was it on the hotel website or on AAA or elsewhere?

on the hotels website. my DH was teasing me b/c i'm such a huge travelzoo fan, but the simple AAA rate was much better.
