Milford Place Hotel in NYC
 

Can anyone tell me if this is a decent hotel? It looks as though it's right near Times Sq. and the theater district, which is where I want to be. Thank you!

It is in the theater district, one block from Times Square. It is on 8th Avenue, between 44th and 45th Streets. A host of theaters are a five minute or less walk from the hotel. I have read quite a number of posts about this hotel - there were many more negative comments than positive comments. I have no personal experience of the hotel.

Thank you! It should be Milford Plaza-not Place. It is listed as a 3 star hotel, but sounds like thats not dependable.

It's a large hotel that caters to alot of tour groups and airline personnel. The location is great, but the hotel itself is pretty bland and impersonal. You can probably do better, but you could defintely do worse.<BR><BR>Try my old favorite, the Best Western President on W. 48th Street.

A 3-star hotel? By whose standards? Ha!
