Where and on what dates can I find an authentic Octoberfest with great German food, beer and an entertaining ompah band in the Midwest during September and October?

I used to travel to Cincinnati all the time and was amazed that they had an Octoberfest. Not sure of the dates but it seemed to be a big deal.
