Mid September weather from San Diego to Napa

Driving the coast up from San Diego, starting Sept. 13th thru Sept 27th. What is the usual weather starting in SD as far north as Napa? Thanks~

San Diego weather in September is fabulous. Hot days, cooler evenings. IMO, September and October are the best weather months here.

I live about eighty miles from Napa and can confirm that the weather will be hot but very nice in September as well as every where you go on your drive up the coast.

Mid Sept/Oct is just about the best time of year weather-wise along the entire coast of CA. You may have hot days inland in the Napa area - but the coast should be glorious.

Hi sunlover, in my opinion you chose the exact perfect time for your trip. September is my favorite month in California (I live just east of Napa). You will have a wonderful drive and trip I am sure.
