Mid-Priced Hotel in Oakland/Berkeley

Need a simple overnight stay with two adults and child...prefer on-site parking...hopeful for
proximity to neighborhood breakfast cafe

We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Emeryville...not sure if it meets your mid-priced criteria, but we found it convenient to get to, and I recall we walked to a nearby Peet's Coffee shop for breakfast...this was a few years ago, but hopefully not much has changed. Here's the link:

Peet's only serves coffee and pastries (which I fully acknowledge constitutes breakfast for many people LOL)! There's probably a restaurant in the shopping area nearby for breakfast (although with a car, you could always go into Berkeley or Oakland for breakfast).

There are other hotels in that same area - google Emeryville hotels - I think there's a Four Points Sheraton and a few others in addition to the Courtyard.

Parking is across the street. Nice hotelgroup, nice on water...nice neighborhood with some close by restaurants had some great prices

The Hilton Garden Inn, Emeryville, is nice and includes a hot breakfast.
