Mid Atlantic resorts

Are there any resorts similar to the Greenbrier or Homestead that are not as expensive? The Greenbrier is $250 a night per person, and I have a family of 5.

You might look for articles on the Washington Post web site (www.washingtonpost.com). If you click on travel, you'll find a section of mid-Atlantic escapes, including resorts and the like. The Washingtonian magazine (www.washingtonian.com) also has a travel section where they highlight many of the mid-Atlantic resorts. Good Luck!

I've been looking also, and I found the Kingsmill Resort (www.kingsmill.com). It looks nice and is definitely not as expensive, plus if you're going with kids Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg are both really close. If you end up going there, please let me know how it is!
