Mickey Mouse Calls Your House on Christmas?!

I am trying to plan a Disney trip next year for my two children as a Christmas present and wanted to know if anyone has heard about a deal where Mickey calls your house one Christmas day. Is this true? Has anyone planned a Disney trip including this phone call?

This is what we did a few years ago with our kids. For Christmas they received gifts pertaining to a trip - Disney videos, a Florida Barbie, chocolate airplanes in their stockings, new bathing suits, a Mickey towel, various other Disney/Florida themed items. After the presents were opened, there was an envelope in the tree from Santa with a mysterious poem about another present and we made them guess what it was from the clues in the poem. It started out something like "There is another present for you three, something from your mom, dad and me, but it's not wrapped in a box under the tree..." We video taped them guessing and finally figuring it out and the reactions to going to Disney are preserved forever.

Hey guys,

bjboothman, thanks for the link. I also found this one, www.geocities.com/mickeymousecallsyourhouse. Sandye, what a great present you gave them!

Thanks again for your help. We're going to have so much fun this year.

Well the trick here is that you must have a WDW reservation number for the big Mick to make the call.

Are you planning to go over Christmas in 2007? Christmas is the busiest season for Disney World - you'll be dealing with some serious crowds. I think it is great that you are starting your planning now. You'll be able to make dining reservations 180 days in advance (next summer)and you'll want to plan early for Princess meals or Chef Mickey's. You'll definately want a good touring plan - the three I've used that were very good were The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, www.tourguidemike.com, and www.buildabettermousetrip.com.

A good touring plans can literally save you hours of waiting in lines.
