Michigan

La Casa Suites & Inns. Detroit, Michigan.
Does anyone know anything about this place.
I understand it was a Quality Inn and then
the Guesthouse Inn now La Casa. What condition the hotel is in? Has anyone stayed there? I would like to know if there are restaurants and shopping in the area.

Manya, since I see that you are brand new to the board, and this is your second post attempting to ask your question, let me offer you some advice.

Repost. In the subject line cite the name of the hotel and city & state you are inquiring about, then in the body of the post re-ask your question in the more detailed form you have here.

The first post lacked city & state identifiers, the second post with title of "Michigan" only is not helping people with the answer to your question find your thread.

We are all willing to help you, just give us all the pieces of the puzzle in cohesive form.

you can also try www.tripadvisor.com for recent reviews of that hotel.

Good Luck!

there are several quality inn's in detroit - i would be happy to help if you can be more specific - an address would be great since detroit can go from bad to not so good within a few blocks.

cfntmpn, I am pretty sure Manya is asking about the La Casa Sutes in Hazel Park.

I drive by this hotel every day on my way to work. It is located on 9 Mile Road and John R in Hazel Park. I'm not sure what you are looking for, but it is just a basic hotel. I haven't been inside in years. We went to an anniversary party there many years ago (when it was owned by another chain). What exactly are you looking for? The neighborhood is okay.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. I think the neighborhood is bad. I know the hotel. Drove by it for 6 years to work. It is frequented by drug users, and prostitutes. I have been by it in the early, early morning, late, late at night and everything in between.

What are you trying to do, and where do you want to go in Detroit?

I would definitely not recommend that you stay at that hotel, I drove by there very frequently, the area is not the greatest either.
