Miami Seafood Restraunts

Plan on spending a November weekend in Miami and would like to have a "sit down" seafood dinner each night. Have not made hotel accomodations yet. Where in the metropolitain Miami area can we get good moderate to inexpensive priced seafood dinners? Don't ask much do I?

Head to Grill Fish in South Beach at 1444 Collins Avenue. Have never been disappointed there.

Even though we are right next to the ocean, it doesn't translate very often to inexpensive for our seafood. One quite good place, a bit hard to find, is Garcia's on the Miami River. Fish is a fresh as could be and the prices aren't bad. Best in the afternoon on a nice day.

I second the recommendation for Grillfish, and add A Fish Called Avalon (Avalon Hotel) as well. I strongly disagree with the assertion that you can't eat on the cheap in South Beach. Both of these are quite reasonably priced, and you get excellent food.

In the second tier I'd put places like Nexxt Café (Lincoln Road) and Café Cardozo (Cardozo Hotel)-- solid if not transcendental food, including good fish entrées. But the first two places mentioned are can't-miss joints.
