Miami or South Beach

Looking for a hotel in Miami or South Beach that's good with teens - does not have to be too trendy. Would like a nice pool, near the beach and tennis if possible. Comfortable and quiet - not too adult, but not overwhelmed with small children either. Thanks in advance for any ideas...

South Beach is not teen-ager friendly. Ideal for you would be Key Biscayne, either the Ritz or the Royal Sonesta. Beside the beach and stores, there is nothing for teenagers to do in South Beach.

"Besides the beach and stores?" You mean that's not enough? :D

The Palms in South Beach is nice as is Sonesta one in Key Biscayne the other in Sunny Isles. We also have the Westin Diplomat up north and there's always Cheeca Lodge or Hawks Cay in nearby Key LArgo. You may like the Biltmore wonderful pool and great dining nearby.

Vey true the Biltmore in Coral Gables would be a nice choice. Great swimming pool, perfect for playing tennis, great shopping around, great restaurants. Also there is the Venetian pool within walking distance from the hotel.
Coral Gables is very centrally located and a very short drive to all major attractions ....
