Message: We're looking for movies that are set in Miami. We're New Yorkers who just found out we'll be moving to Miami this summer and we want to get in the mood by renting some videos that are set in Miami!! Any suggestions?

I don't know ifr any of these will get you the mood for Miami, but I can think of:

Big Trouble
Birdcage
Scarface
2 Fast 2 Furious
Something About Mary

Of course, after you watch these you might have second thoughts about Miami!

I can't remember the name of that great movie from about 20 years ago with Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines where they're NY cops who go to Miami to help solve a case...hysterical scene where they're roller blading in Miami...any help here? Something like Running Scared?

I think it was Running Scared....

Also Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Miami Rhapsody, True Lies (there are chase scenes in the keys and on Collins Ave in Miami Beach) and of course you could start watching CSI:Miami!!

Or watch Miami Vice reruns. :D
