I need a relatively inexpensive hotel in South Beach. Any suggestions?

I don't know what your definition of 'expensive' is, but we enjoyed the Blue Moon on Collin Avenue. Rates in December were about $120.00.

When?

I am going the first week of April. $100-120 a night would be great. I am going to look into the Blue Moon -- thanks very much! Any other suggestions would also be appreciated.

If you can get deals, the following hotels are right on Ocean Drive, not too expensive and are acceptable (listed in preferential order):<BR>-- Park Central<BR>-- Avalon Majestic<BR>-- Penguin<BR><BR>Of these three, the Park Central is the nicest. The other two are pretty basic, but clean and near the Action. I also hear good things about the Essex House (on Collins). Good luck!<BR>

I also suggest the Avalon.. It's on Ocean Drive, perfect location for action, yet cheap as far as South Beach is concerned... I stayed there when I was younger and had a blast. South Beach is the greatest
