miami hotel around christmas with great pool for kids
 

We will be staying 2 nights in Miami near Christmas. Any suggestions for hotel with great pool for kids? Prefer not to go over $250. Fountainebleau?, Eden Roc?

Eden Roc is so much better than FB for service and luxe. But for kids and for the pool I would do FB for sure.

The NEW Fountainbleau Hotel & Suites start at about $200 per night for a studio. (Be certain you're in the new building, not the old ones.) They have a fantastic kids pool with lazy river.

If you have car rental, you can also check out the Sonesta Beach Resort in Key Biscayne.

Another fabulous website for research is www.tripadvisor.com.

It's been years since I've been, but you may want to check out Lago Mar.

Thankyou!! I have been using tripadvisor a lot for hotel suggestions. It has been very helpful. It looks like FB may be best for us (at least the kids, anyway) although I like "ambiance and luxury" if I can get it reasonably. Eden Roc is actually cheaper during our travel time. Oh well.

As a general FYI, Sonesta in Key Biscayne closed Aug 31 of this yr.
