Miami hotel
 

For a pre-cruise one-night stay, is anyone
familiar with either of these hotels:

Marco Polo Ramada

or

Seacost Suites (both on Collins Dr.)

Thanks very much - we're looking for an ocean-front hotel with a pool around $200/night.

When? Miami hotels are getting to be like NYC hotels. There can be a $200 swing in price for the exact same hotel room depending upon the dates.

The Marco Polo Ramada is miserable.

Where on Collins is the Seacoast Suites?

Do not stay at the Ramada. You've been warned. Have you considered bidding at Priceline? That way, you can get a higher end property for lots less.

I go to Miami a few time a year and I always stay at the Delano, which has always exceeded expectations.

Gekko, while I agree the Delano is a superior hotel, if arlene is looking at the Ramada Maco Polo, I'm pretty sure The Delano is out of her price range.
