Miami Hotel

Can anyone recommend a trendy hotel in Miami for 2 girls in their late 20s? Would like to pay no more that $200 per room per night.

When will you be going? Rates go up in High Season (that is, wintertime). Off the top of my head, there aren't a lot of really trendy hotels that hit that price point AND are located in good spots of South Beach (and if we're talking trendy, we're talking South Beach). Some possibilities:

-- The Clinton
-- Park Central (not so much "trendy" as coolly elegant)
-- Cardozo (my personal fave)
-- The Pelican (wild theme-room hotel)
-- Royal Palm Crowne Plaza
-- The National

Loews or Delano are popular, but unsure of the rates. It's worth a call.

Thanks - we'll be going mid-October

Lots of city wide events going on in South Florida mid October so rates may be hit or miss.

Along with rjw's excellent suggestions, I'll throw in the Doubletree Surfcomber.
