Miami - Emeril's Brunch??
Four of us (all ladies)are headed to Miami in 10 days... assuming we still can get a reservation - is Emeril's Sunday brunch worth it? Or should we just aim for lunch on another day?
Has anyone been there recently? I don't mind the splurge, but can anyone give a roundabout price I can pass on to my fellow travel partners? |
Anyone?
Even if you haven't been - do you have a vote - would you go for brunch or lunch?! Has anybody enjoyed brunch at another Emeril's location? |
I've never been to that Emeril's and I'm sorry I can't suggest another brunch in Miami - I'm not familiar enough. But I did hit the Emeril's in Orlando for lunch and was not impressed. Overpriced with average service.
That being said, maybe the one in Miami is a totally different story. BUT I'd think someone out there can recommend a really fun Miami-type spot. |
We had an amazing dinner there about 2 years ago. We both agreed that Emeril wasn't just gliding on his name; it was truly a wonderful restaurant. That was two years ago and we went to one in Vegas that wasn't nearly as good. I think brunch there would be heavenly. It won't be cheap, but you won't need a second mortgage either.

Emerils is really a dinner experience... because its located in the Loews hotel, many would rather sit outside at one of the countless bistros on Ocean and value the South Beach activity of people watching... also the food is good and more reasonably priced... and you don't need a reservation.... If you really want Emerils, get prettied up and have dinner there... P.S. most of the hotels in SB offer some type of brunch or Bfast buffet starting at $15 per head... the four of you don't want to ruin those girlish figures, do you?
Take a look at the menu by googling emerils south beach... prices are $31 to $50... |
Loving the input... though no decision yet.
garyt, you made me full like a bonehead- I swear I've been to the Emeril's site twice and never saw the prices! |
Prices are on www.usmenuguide/emerilssouthbeach.html

I have tried several Emeril's places, most recently the Orlando Tchoup Chop and the City one. The Tchoup one was very glamorous looking and the food was good but not spectacular.
You are going to South Beach, head out of Loews and go to a South Beach classic: Nemos. The brunch there is lovely and sitting out on the see and be seen patio is great. I might just search here and see if I can find earlier reviews about the SB Classic. (Not on the beach but in the SoFi area). LMF |
Sorry... that web site is www.usmenuguide.com/emerilsmiamibeach
