Mets tickets

Would appreciate any info on getting tickets to Mets games at a discounted price. I believe that the Mets organization may have certain arrangements where such tickets are available. An example - AARP had a deal with the Mets whereby you can purchase tickets on the Mets web site using their code - this is for seniors. I note there are plenty of empty seats at Mets games nowadays - due to - their overpricing of seats and their lousy play. Are there other arrangements to obtain such tickets?

I got cheaper Yankee tickets at www.neversoldout.com

Joe, are you planning to take your own wine?

Burt - I would not dare take my own wine to a Mets game - the team - in protest will simply throw the game.

Many empty seats are not unsold - they are season tickets not being used for that game - or not sold on the resale market.

You can look at stubhub.com to see prices. If someone is desperate they may sell unused tickets below face value - although I have never see it - but then I'm not a Met fan.

Joe, isn't that what they've been doing lately?
