Metropolitan/Radisson/The Mansfield

bid two time for hotels at Priceline. $86.00 for Midtown east and west for 8/10 - 8/14. The bid was rejected. I am thinking to book on expedia or quickbook.com. I have three hotel on my mind: Metropolitan, Radisson Lexington, orThe Mansfield. Please give me some hint on these hotels. Thank you!

I'd skip the Radisson, the other two are better choices. The Metropolitan is on the East Side and is a full service hotel, probably a 3+ Star hotel. There have been previous threads on the forum regarding the Metropolitan, do a search. The Mansfield is more of a boutique hotel west of 5th Avenue and near to Times Square.

Thank you Frank. Besides these two hotel, do you have any other hotel suggestion in this price range?

Keep trying on Priceline. Study www.biddingfortravel.com. In the alternative, use Hotwire.com. Best hotels for best rates. You can get lower rates on Priceline if you know what you're doing, but Hotwire's hotels are nicer and better located!

Forget Expedia. Try www.hoteldisount.com for availability and rates, then Hotwire, then decide.
