Hi,
What is the best affordable (and rustic style) lodging to visit Arches?
Thanks
Alain (Paris, France)

Hi Alain,

Sorry, this is not my area of expertize. We always camp.

I do know there is no lodging in Arches. The nearest town is Moab, Utah just 4 miles away. If you want to buy a tent and camp, there is a campground in Arches and they do take reservations.

Alain, is there some reason you want only Utahtea's advice? Because you'd get more responses if you gave your post a more meaningful title...

Alain,

do a search. There was a post here the other day that talked about this topic.

I've stayed at the Best Western in Moab. It was an okay place, but certainly no Four Seasons.

We stayed at a nice B&B in Moab. Not "rustic" though. More "victorian".

Red Bluff Adventure Resort, Aarchway Inn and Landmark Inn are nice clean places to stay in Moab.

I just stayed in Moab at the Motel 6. It is not rustic but new and big. The best thing was it was $44/night (senior citizen rate) which included my dog. The older/rustic motels are more expensive I thought and some not in very good condition.
