Memphis - Live Music Venues?
 

So I've heard that Memphis is full of great music and we are visiting over Labor Day.

I've done some searching through the posts, but can't find any good live music venue lists outside of one or two great blues bars.

suggestions?

Beale Street. Lots of choices. Just walk down the street and go into whatever bar suits your fancy.

You will also find bands playing outside on Beale Street, not just inside the restaurants and bars. Even when it's hot, it seems like someone is making music there. Some of them are really talented; others are just typical street performer types.
