They have a WONDERFUL zoo! I've taken my children there several times over the course of their childhood, and they've always loved it. Also, just looking around in the Peabody Hotel downtown is great (especially the ducks!). Eat bar-b-que at Corky's; it's the best I've eaten, and I've eaten a lot. Plan to wait a while, unless you go during an off time. Everybody else knows it's good, too. The Pink Palace museum was a neat place when I was a kid (long time ago) and I think your children are at a good age to enjoy it. Check to see if there are any travelling exhibits in town when you are there. I know the Titanic exhibit and the King Tut exhibit where there before, and they may have something in place when you are there. Liberty Land is a small amusement park, but it's a fun diversion. Have fun!
