i'll be in memphis june 8, and taking in graceland, beale street, bbq, etc. Will I be affected by the recent floods?

I think really only a small percentage of the city flooded. You might have some smell.

Blues City Cafe
Gus's Fried Chicken
Rendevouz
Peabody Sunday Brunch-expensive

Those are our 4 favorites for food. See the ducks at the Peabody, even if you dont eat there.

I am supposed to be driving from New orleans to kentucky in June . Looks like one needs to wait and watch !

Beale Street,Graceland are not effected at all by the flooding. Only around Frayser and parts of downtown are effect and some out east. I think you will be ok. The River is starting to come down now and the city is wanting people to come to Memphis. Have a good trip and see the Peabody Ducks.
