Memorial Day weekend--Where are you going?
 

Do you have plans yet for travel during Memorial Day weekend (end of May)? Need inspiration--tell me your plans!

We are leaving on the 25th for Vienna & Salzburg in Austria, and Nice, France. However, if I were doing a long weekend in the states, I would go to one of the following: DC, Philly, Boston, or Montauk. Obviously I am from the east coast. I am also just now getting information regarding New Brunswick, Canada. Short flight from NYC and lots of natural wonders to explore. Looks divine. Possibly for Labor Day or July 4th holidays.

The Indy 500 is a Memorial weekend blast if you like racing/party crowds. I'm not going this year but have attended many times. Book a room now if you plan to go.

Thinking of Santa Fe, but don't know if things are going to be extra expensive on that weekend!

Putting our bikes on in Folsom and peddling about 25 miles down the American River Bike Trail to Old Town Sacramento for the start of the Old Sac Jazz Festival. <BR> <BR>We'll chow down some gooood Cajun cookin'and listen to some zydeco just to help us get by until we hit New Orleans again. <BR> <BR>And please don't forget the real meaning of Memorial Day! Pensacola, Florida - quick yet fun holiday weekend getaway

We're also leaving on the 25th, for France. We'll be touring the Loire valley for a week. <BR> <BR>If I were staying in the USA I'd probably go someplace I've never been before; the desert, maybe, out west.

Well, if the airlines cooperate and allow me to use a free ticket, then will head down to the sunshine area of St. Pete, to work on my summer tan. Terrific area. Ciao
