meeting place at O'hare
 

I have 2 different friends all flying American into O'Hare within an hour of each other...where would be a good place to meet after baggage claim ?? Is there a bar at baggage claim ?? Do most of the American flights come into the same terminal ?? If so maybe a bar in that Terminal ?? Last question... 4 of us do you recommend a taxi or sedan ?? who should we use and the cost differnce .....whew !!! I'm finished ...thanks !!!

I can't remember clearly, but I thought all the bars and eateries were within the security area. So if you didn't have a ticket you couldn't get inside.

All the American luggage comes to the same general area, so you won't have much trouble meeting each other in the downstairs baggage claim of Terminal 3. However, there is no bar or any other amenities in the area. They are all past security checkpoints. Whoever gets there first will just have to wait for the others. You won't want to dally in the terminal shops because the luggage gets unloaded pretty fast, and can easily be swiped if unattended.

The best options to downtown (I assume you are going downtown) are a taxi, about $25 dollars, or the train, $1.50 apiece.
