Mediterranean Inn

We are staying at the Mediterranean Inn in Seattle in September for a few days and are looking for a couple of good restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. Generally, our preferences are somewhat gourmet using fresh foods with relatively small menus...I guess "bistro-type". Any suggestions?
Also, any feedback on the Mediterranean Inn?
We are Pennsylvanians and it's our first trip to the PNW.

It sounds like Crow is exactly what you are looking for:

We are planning to stay at the Mediterranean Inn just before you, so I'm looking forward to hearing specific restaurant suggestions. I was in Seattle recently and saw the Mediterranean and decided it would be a good place to stay because of the neighborhood. There are loads of little restaurants. Several Thai, for instance. Ratings on Med. Inn are high on tripadvisor and you can get more info there. Some rooms, however, don't have A.C. and it can get hot that time of year, I'm told. We reserved sixth floor rooms with A.C. and view--the deluxe rooms--for a little extra.
Now, bring on the restaurant recommendations.

Good places at reasonable prices closest to the Mediterranen are Nonna Maria (Italian), Racha (Thai), and Chutney's (Indian). There is also a new sushi place that has been getting good buzz, but I can't remember its name.

Christy1...thanks so much for the recommendation for Crow Restaurant in Queen Anne. We spent nearly 2 weeks in the PNW and I think this was our favorite dining experience! Good atmosphere - quiet neighborhood (for now - I think they are working on getting it up & going) - and obviously a great chef.

Also it's not that far if you wanted to walk or catch the bus down into Belltown (an area with loads of restaurants to the north of downtown core but south of Queen Anne hill).
