MBroderick and NLane in Wed/Thurs evening performances of The Producers in Feb?
I'm going to New York on business the end of next month and am going to try to see The Producers on either a Wednesday or Thursday evening. Does anyone know in general if MBroderick and NLane tend to be in performances on these evenings?
Also, will be trying to get a ticket ahead of time, asap, and was since only getting a single ticket, hoping this may be possible. Any thoughts on the best place to try to get one?

A SRO line forms daily at the box office hours before the start of the show. I think even the singles are soldout (with the exception of the premium tix). It can't hurt to try at the theater a few hours before, maybe you'll luck out with a cancellation. Good luck.

Just returned from NYC and there were no singles from Weds. to Sunday for the show. The line for cancellations was long at every time of the day. The two stars are only signed up to play until March unless they renew their contract. And Nathan Lane is not doing Tues. evening or Weds. matinee. We were told that the special tickets were $400 so good luck in seeing the show.

Cheryl,
I just posted about this last Sunday. We saw The Producers last Friday night. I have seen A LOT of Broadway shows but this was by far the best show I've ever seen. If you can swing it I truly believe it's worth $300 a ticket to see Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick! You will have the BEST time!!! I would love to see it again!!!
ENJOY!!!

1. The above posters are correct. Nathan Lane does not perform Tuesday evenings and Wednesday matinees. He is onstage Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
2. Don't count on lucking in by walking right up to the box office and getting a single ticket. If you're willing to go and wait in line in the morning for up to 10 hours, your chances are good for getting at least a standing room ticket.
3. The price of the premium tickets is $480 apiece, I believe.

I tried buying a single ticket through Telecharge for any performance the month of March and none were available. Their ticket availability started in May.
There ARE, however, several Producers tickets for sale on the online auctions for far less than $400 per ticket.
